Tayto Park 2017 - Viking Voyage Log Flume

Construction is underway for the park's new Interlink log flume which will feature two normal drops and a backwards drop. It is going to open in June.

Today was the media day so some pictures have surfaced. Hopefully it wont be long before a POV is out.









Here are some details about the ride:

-At the center of the attraction is a 60ft tall mountain and over 500 trees have been planted to recreate the Irish landscape from 1,000 years ago.
-It has 3 drops including one which is backwards.
-The ride uses 1.7million liters of water, 5,000 bundles of straw, 10,000 tons of concrete and 500 tons of steel.
-There are six stunning Viking replica ships throughout the ride, which will thrill 720 visitors per hour.
-Manufactured by Interlink.

I've heard some good reviews of fellow ECC members who were there as well for the media day. Apparently it's quite a good ride. I'm curious on the POV.
