Ok well if i cant have a vertical launch...what angle should i make the Angled launch be. What is the max angle before you consider it vertical....and if it is about the supports trust me you will get your share of custom supports on the rest of my coaster. So tell me the launch angle i need to have because i have some changing to do. Also, just because something hasn't been done, doesn't mean that it can't be done. I personally believe a vertical launch could be created in the future.

The maximum angle is 60 degrees. You can also still choose to keep the vertical launch but it will cost you some points.

I think Edge is referring to a new tool for auto-creating supports, but from what I'm hearing, it's not all that great...thus, the "old fashioned way" would be by hand...am I correct?

ack, tarzanman! 100 % custom?! wow, im going against you so i'd better finish my supports too! ..what's your coaster like so far? have you heard anything from the other guy?

g force- i think you said that points would be taken off if the fps got slow.. how slow do they have to go for that to happen? there is a spot on my ride that gets down to about 10.. but only for one hill. how many points off do you think that would be?

coaster992001 - GFA, unless im mistaken, did not say he would take points off for low fps. Also you dont need to terraform, but it sometimes improves the ride.

your right, it's not the size of the track that matters, it's how you use it[:p]

We will get a brand new template and track style with each new round. Example: last year, the first round was to build a corkscrew coaster in a rectangular donut-shaped area. round 2 was to build an inverted coaster that went through 11 rings arranged in space on a 250ftX250ft area. Round 3 was to build a steel looping coaster in a given template.

The first week is over, and trackwork on KAZAN is now done. All I have to do now is add some trees, throw in the custom underground tunnels, and stick on those killer hypercoaster supports. Here are the finalized specs.

drop: 320 ft
2nd hill: 225 ft
3rd hill: 140 ft
top speed: 96 mph
