"Double" Corkscrew... Problem!

I don't like it when the transition between the first and the second corkscrew gets jerky in an unwanted way. It's (still) too hard for me to shape the double corkscrew well, while it's actually easy to build a single one! I'll post no images this time because this is a quick (Um... I think so.) question.

I need your help. Tips are welcome! :roll:

Could you create a prefab from your single corkscrew, then input them both with a small straight section inbetween which should give you another couple of nodes to smoothen the transition whilst maintaining the effective shape of the majority of the cork?
