That ending is what New Texas Giant should have had from the start.

Well, there's a creativity exercise if you feel like it. Design your ideal version of New Texas Giant in NL2 or Planet Coaster.

DAAAAAAAMN this looks amazing! Yea we've all seen the giant elements for a long time now, but I freaking love the post-MCBR part too. Yeah some people think it looks repetitive, but I think it only looks like that if you look at the layout for its individual elements. The awesomeness of that 2nd half lies in how perfectly every turn and hill blends into the next. Given how different the tight and frenetic pacing of the second half is from the soaring and gigantic scale of the first half, I think the ride should be an unforgettably incredible experience from start to finish. This thing reminds me so much of my favorite roller coaster: If the SFGAm Goliath is RMC's Colossos / El Toro, and Wicked Cyclone is RMC's Balder, then Steel Vengeance is RMC's T Express. And THAT is going to be so freaking amazing.

As good an idea of what this ride would be like as I think we all had from the construction photos, the announcement just raised the bar even higher. I love the look of the new-gen trains with double road wheels, especially on the zero-car.

I don't like to judge rides before I actually ride them, but this looks like it is a serious contender for best IBox coaster. I had high expectations for this project and they were exceeded. Although not the most unique coaster announced for 2018, I think this is the must visit ride of the year.
Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash

I do think that second half would drag on if there weren't headchoppers around you for so much of it. That is going to be awesome.

I love how they combine trickiness (not twistiness in this case) and smoothness in one "long" layout! 8-)

Yeah, good to see RMC really starting to refine their rides! I'm looking forward to seeing some POV's and hopefully getting out to ride it one day!

This teaser is a bit old but somehow it passed over our heads. It shows a great angle of the overbank.

They don't have much left to build.

It won't be the longest -- nobody seems to remember The Ultimate!

The Ultimate is only a hybrid on the lift when it has wooden supports.

Still steel track atop a wooden structure, is it not?

The rest of the ride is so low to the ground that it doesn't need the hybrid supports. x3

Cannot wait to see how they look when it's complete! It looks like the lift was pretty aar along in that shot of the roll under the block brake.

I'm concerning whether or not the ride will really get a tophat-like moment on the third hill! + :)

Holy crap that is gorgeous
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?
