La Ronde 2018 - Carnaval en Folie: Family Area

La Ronde, in Montreal, is celebrating all things family with Carnaval en Folie???a new carnival-themed family zone, complete with three, fun new rides sure to delight the young and young at heart. Guests will be fully immersed in an atmosphere inspired by fairs and carnivals of yesteryear featuring rich, vibrant colors and festive music and lighting. Torsade is a spinning tilt-a-whirl where parents can ride with their children; Petit Roue is a fun-size Ferris wheel that offers the best view of the Carnaval; and Tourbillon is the perfect ride for thrill seekers in training.

The Tourbillon ride is actually a scrambler, not the rides at SFOT and SFGAdv.

They called the scrambler "Tourbillion"? Between this and the renamed Larson Loop Six Flags media department aren't having the best time!

I know it's not completely relevant to the new addition to 2018 however...

And what will replace it? I hope for a new rollercoaster in 2019 (will that happen? Probably not).

So La Ronde comes with some family rides and removes a (random closed in 2016) thrilling coaster in 2018. Great.

So instead of a few family rides, they only get one new family ride.
