Hey, Y'all. In showing off another one of my works, I have been wondering have any of you used artificial roughness to add realism to a wooden coaster?

A work I made called Surge utilizes this. Surge is a typical S&S woodie. Smooth transitions and fast pacing but needs major re tracking. Basically, I saturated the track with vertices and it created this effect.

Have any of you done this better and used a different method? I'd love to learn.

I've seen this done to imitate transfer track bumps. It's an interesting approach.

Effect seems to be working well in your POV.
