Well, this seems to have just come out of nowhere. It seems like a new family coaster is coming to OK Corral, a theme park in the south of France, with currently has a large Zierer Tivoli and a Gerstlauer Family Shuttle Coaster. Not much is known about this coaster, but work has been taking place on this new coaster.

Back in December last year, the park posted this timelapse video on their youtube channel of them digging the footers for the coaster:

Also, these images recently surfaced on facebook of the supports going up for the new coaster. I can also see some track for the coaster if you look closely in some of the images:

This is certainly one to keep an eye on. It will also be interesting to find out who's manufacturing it.

If anyone's wondering what that is, here's a link to it's product page:

I think that's the first time I see a catwalk on both sides mounted without the track in between.

I suppose it creates something to stand on whilst waiting for the track pieces to be craned in!

Weird that they have the stairs in before the track lol. I like the hillside it's on, and the colors remind me of Sierra Sidewinder

Okay... It seems this is going to be a combination of the motorcoaster/pony express with a standard sit down train themed around a stagecoach:

Wait so the first couple cars are like a motorbike and the rear cars are like stagecoaches? That's a weird concept.

This type of train was posted in the Uber idea thread all that while back, I know it.
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

Maybe they done it because with a normal seating the height limit can be brought down a lot. That way more people can ride it.

Hello ! i could test it a few days ago and here is what i think

Positive Point :

Confort
Fun
Layout.

Negative Point

Too short
some transitions are a bit brutal

Note : the sensations are completly diferent from one type of seat to another

My recomandation : Siting on a Horse you are totaly free (just have a leg retain)
