Got to ride it last night. It's the best coaster I've ever ridden. I haven't been out of North America, but it's way above everything I've ridden here and I've ridden most of the major ones

^What's amazing is how that's the reaction of something like 90-95% of the riders so far. First Twisted Timbers opened with many saying that it was the craziest/most intense (if maybe not "best") RMC, now this opens and everyone's all, "Um, yeah this one's actually crazier..." As hard as I try not to go into coasters with such overwhelming expectations anymore, it's the only way I can approach Steel Vengeance now. Guess I'll find out in June!

You're doing a Midwest tour in June or just CP?

I'm reading that some wood was damaged on the track in the station, coaster will probably be down for a while.
Edit: @OneWheelProds on Twitter said that 2 people were sent to the hospital

The coaster is already testing again so it wasn't damaged, probably somebody spreading fake news.

Got 10 rides on this over the past 3 days and I can say it's the best coaster in the world now. This ride just keeps going and going and you are practically never in your seat.

It's just not okay how incredible this ride is.

^How were the wait times for you? Still have yet to hear anyone say it isn't at least very close to being their top coaster. I've got just over 1 month until I ride it.

Wait times were never more than 1.5 hours, but it was worth it every time. I'd imagine by the time you went they would have figured out 2 trains and reopened the Fast Lane line.

Two trains bumped opening day because blocking is hard to implement on a ride that already had a working blocking system, so they're going with the '1 train can't crash into another train' logic.

That's how I got my "Safest park in the country" awards in RCT for years when I was younger.

Don't challenge RMC to find some way to mess up
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

Cedar Point has announced that Steel Vengeance will now be running two trains thanks to recent adjustments, and that it has been added back to Fast Lane Plus. :)

Rode Steel Vengeance for the first time yesterday and yep, the hype is real. It was my 100th roller coaster and I currently rank it at the top above the other 99. Some of the elements and things this ride tries to do to you are simply unreal. The first drop, airtime moments, and inversions were all ridiculously intense. My favorite part was the final few bunny hills before the brake run, the airtime was so strong on some of those hills it felt like the train was trying to eject me. As for the mid-course brake, if it was biting at all, I didn???t notice it. Overall, Steel Vengeance is an absolutely incredible ride that deserves the reputation it???s been getting, and I strongly recommend planning a trip to the park to ride it if you haven???t already. :)
