Walibi Holland 2019 - Untamed: RMC Robin Hood

This will be a unique opportunity for RMC. They've never done a singular out-and-back makeover before. Storm Chaser is kinda up that alley but not nearly like Robin Hood. I'm eager to see the layout, but I agree with the previous comment about RMC overly complicating layouts these days.

The concept isn't brand new anymore. Even though I think each of their designs is above average, there's a lot of repetition in their portfolio now. Steel Vengeance woke it up a bit. But I hope this new phase of overseas non-chain makeovers sparks new ideas and styles from them. RMC definitely has found their identity which is not a bad thing, but I remember seeing Iron Rattler and Medusa's announcement animations and feeling my jaw hit my desk... I miss that.

Steel Vengeance is a masterpiece, nothing about that ride says mediocre to me. I think there's only so much RMC can do to diversify their layouts but things like the reverse cobra roll and outerbanked wave turn on Twisted Cyclone show they've still got originality

Yeah I don't think anybody thinks any RMC is mediocre, let alone Steel Vengeance. Or at least I hope they don't

Ikr, rode that thing the other day, absolutely incredible, I think it's my new #1. You know what they say though, even the weakest RMC's are still better than 80% of roller coasters out there, so mediocrity and RMC don't go together

Some inside sources say the ride will feature more than 3 inversions

It doesn't say anything about intensity though. 80% of the coasters basically exist out of kiddy/junior/powered/family coasters.

I've ridden various RMC's so far and most of them were mediocre to me. xD

Well when you have a comparison like a solid kiddie coaster, I mean RMC looks mediocre

Some more details were revealed today:
-The ride will (probably) have a wilderness theme
-Station and ride footprint will remain
-Layout will be the same for the most part, but with extreme elements
-The reason why Robin Hood is RMC'ed:
-> The park received too much complaints about the ride's comfort

That pretty much describes RMC (bar the theme). No surprises for us enthusiasts yet.

The Walibi Community Day is held today, and the following has been revealed:
- The track color will be light brown
- The ride will feature one element that's unique (for RMC coasters I guess)

Glad they didn't go with an obnoxious color.

Since its gonna have that color scheme and have a wilderness theme, maybe ???Eland op Los???? (Moose on the Loose in dutch)

Meanwhile the English can be cool. But it's far from something I would see Walibi use.

Since they're trying to follow the silly Six Flags things and trends. I wouldn't be surprised if the name ends up something like: "Steel Robin"

I see it being themed as maybe a bear or crazy forest path other than Moose on the Loose Coaster
