I found a way to remove the cables from the wooden coasters!

Just do the wide supports and hand rallings but do not put any catwalks in. Then the railings will not have any cable mid way down!

Then add in the catwalks using thousands of simple track connectors to make a custom spline for the catwalks!

Or you could uncheck everything else and add just the catwalks with 'clear previous structure' unchecked. Not all of us are interested in getting swole index fingers.
