Yes, Martin Luther King Did do that, but this is totally different. You need homework in life. Unless you want to be a hobo living in boxes. And yes, I know homework sucks, but you wont be saying that when you have a kickass job making millions of dollars. Whould you? There will always be homework in life. Just deal with it.

OK bud, I see you are trying to make a point....but, comparing Martin Luther King Jr. struggle against oppression against African Americans and people of all other races with a few immature young kids' struggle against no homework. Yeah, real mature. MLK was fighting for his inalienable rights, not the fact that sometimes you have to have homework that takes an hour out of your night. Boohoo...that's real mature. Yeah, you have better things to do. What? Video games? Mindless sports teams? I think learning things in school sometimes through homework will be a bit better than beating Level 10 on some video game or being quarterback on the football.

Hope I wasn't being offensive...

Well, homework isn't bad, it's just that I prefer not doing it, or don't feel like it so it brings down my grade. Plus homework usually helps unless it's pointless. Ex. Im doing more homework this semester in Biology & Math because late semester I did hardly anything, and now I have summer school, which is worse than no homework during school year. But since im doing my homework this semester, my test grades are a lot better, and I know what questions to ask, and I've learned some new stuff. So instead of petitioning for no homework, petition for less homework. :)

ok i know we have to do work but not in my time and mcfly stop judgeing me, i know MLK was really serious but if you read what I said its not comparing the 2 its just saying sticking up for what you belive in is good if its of a worthy coase and i belive this is and yeh MLK was fighting for his rights not against hwk well duh i kinda knew that. and it takes more then an hour a night 4 me not that thats the point, whats youre problem with "maturity" i stick up 4 what i belive in and if u dont well thats up 2 u."sometimes through homework will be a bit better than beating Level 10 on some video game or being quarterback on the football" i dont play football basket ball or video games except nl and i hardly ever play that and no no offence taken because its just debating youre entitled to youre opinion
