Probably some new, cheap horror theming to give Merlin something to market about new Colossos (???NEW RIDE EXPERIENCE!???)

It already has an downgraded Wickerman logo so why not

So a couple of weeks ago, Heide Park finally confirmed that Colossos: Kampf der Giganten as the new name for Colossos when it reopens in 2019. The park annouced it via a night-time projection show over the scaffolding of the new themed structure. It can be viewed here:



The park also revealed the new backstory for Colossos which is:

"A dark power has been sleeping under Colossos for 3 years, but now Colossos will no longer be dormant, so the dark power is fighting back and trying to destroy it."
