Ohwell, while new coaster simulators are coming out, NL is becoming more and more out dated, and so am I. No Limits is such a big task for one person, that poor, poor man.

no sim has scenery and enviromnent options like nolimits. the next update is very hard to code, thats why its taking so long. new sims might be out, but none quite as advenced as NL.

Well im guessing GRIM was talking about the fact it will be harder as it will have Suspened coasters...which i do beleive are the ones that swing under lateral g's, which obviously would be hard to code. Personaly and from experience i dont expect another update to be out until around late summer/autumn time

I agree with Edge, I mean suspended coasters would be so hard to code to get the swinging correct and stuff. Thats why SM didn't have it, because it was to hard to get the swinging correct.

hmmm SM no got it eh? Well, I've heard otherwise from a reliable source, just that it's not released. A pretty reliable source, not saying anything else [:p]

What I mean by outdated is graphics in general, other stuff such as on-ride music, station music, ride types. When I say help, I mean make new models for him, script, debug, it's such a large task for one guy. He should try to recruit volenteers on these major NL websites, there's bound to be someone with the same software as him, maybe c++ or something else.

the graphics in NL are amazing, and for the most part realistic.

Suspendends are much harder to code than a normal ride. However, SM is capable of doing them. I just am not satisfied with the swinging motion so I decided to hold them back for SM2 and its faster physics code. If you need some "proof", just look in the Styles subfolder and notice how #16 is missing [:)]

Wow so it's confirmed Ole is going with the suspended coasters. Great! I can't wait. I wonder are shuttle coasters going to be on the update? I also think LIM suspended coaster would be easy. All that it needs is quad intamin track and the SLC train to be edited. Hopefully the hyper 2-seat train will be able to go on the quad intamin track...

I think the reason I use nolimits more than SM is because I have used it longer, so I know how to make a coaster. And I like the sound better. But I am still going to get SM2.

yeah, but if you think about it, it wont be too too expensive to buy NL2, i mean theyre probably trying to get more people to buy it and use it so if it is too much overpriced theyre not going to sell any more copies of it than they did the original NL.
