Some unexpected news has been uncovered from SeaWorld San Diego. It looks like that just one year after Electric Eel, the park is going to add another coaster for the 2019 season. Here are some plans that were uncovered for the new coaster:

Now at first, you might just write it off as just another SBF Spinner, but look closely, you may notice that there is a loading station on both sides of the figure 8. This is actually rumoured to be a Skywarp Horizon from Skyline Attractions, a different variation of the Skywarp that was showcased at IAAPA last year. This here is what it looks like:

Interested to see what this will look like in reality.

I was not expecting a park like SeaWorld to purchase one of these.

I will believe these leaks if the color scheme and rockwork are true for this coaster. Otherwise, 4 LARGE coasters in 2020 seems way too ambitious for a chain down on their money like Busch.
1. Voyage 2. Intimidator 305 3. Maverick 4. Skyrush 5. Mindbender (Galaxyland) 6. Fury 325 7. Kumba 8. Goliath (Six Flags Over Georgia) 9. The Beast 10. Phoenix

Get Ready to Ride the Tide!
Coming in May 2019- Feel the thrill of this unique dueling roller coaster ride featuring high-speed turns and upside-down twists.

Introducing Tidal Twister, an all-new dueling roller coaster, which will make its debut as a new attraction at SeaWorld San Diego in 2019. The first of its kind in the world, this unique ride is an exhilarating experience that demonstrates the power of the ocean.

Accelerating to 30 mph, riders will twist and bank as if they are riding the tide along a tight figure-8 track that includes dynamic Zero-G roll at the center section.

Two trains, holding 16 passengers each, load at opposite ends of the figure-8 and cross in the center with guests facing both forward and backward on the trains. A lower-height requirement (48") makes this a perfect ride for younger guests and families.

If these had less capacity, I couldn't see it happening.

Maybe theyll be even bumpier than Harley Quinn given Harley only has vertical action...

...and apparently, this does count as a coaster, as it's only now been added to rcdb:

Same principle as the taller models the train technically isn't powered for a very very short section of track therefore they (RCDB) class it.

That is quite soon? Especially if it opens next year? Or will this open in 2019 after all?

Since this ride isn't that big, it was completed fairly quickly:

Looks fun as it is, but would be great if it did full circuits in both directions.
What are these for?
