Hello, everyone! This is my first topic on these forums so I'll introduce myself, my name is Changa & I look forward to showing you my work!
I have been working off & on this project for the past 5 months. Now I have finally reached the point where there are parts of the ride that are close enough to the final piece to warrant presenting. So without further ado, I present:

Avalanche

Inspired by Busch Gardens' Alpengeist. Avalanche is is the longest inverted roller coaster in the world. The ride will twist in and out of the ground and between the trees of a dense woodland in which the park is set. The ride is still very much WIP as I have a lot of buildings still to make & refine. However, the trackwork is pretty much done as is the terraforming with the exception of the few colours.

Height: 60m
Speed: 101kmh
Length: 1277m (Without storage)
Inversions: 6

The mixture of elements seen on BGE's Alpengeist and Carowinds' Afterburner! :D

A few updates on some of the buildings/scenery within the park

I edited the script for the drop tower to reduce it's height and covered the tower shaft to give it a plainer look

The hotel will resemble an alpine hotel, with the track entering/exiting through two archways within the building

The station plans for the bottom floor. The Cross is the Baggage handling area and the Star is the disabled lift

^ You might see a big change to that drop tower like turning into "Acrophobia" - the tilting seats! Just my pipe dream thing, though, lol.

Oh, the joys of coming back to a project, modelling the station, and realising that the buildings intersect horrendously.

My trial of Sketchup Pro has expired. So I guess here is the finished station!

Now to create the main sign, re-do the pathways, and polish the whole thing up!

This looks really nice. Too bad the Sketchup trial expired; looks to me like you have a knack for 3D modeling.

Really nice layout too. Reminds me of Alpengeist, but does it's own thing. Shaping looks good from the pictures you've shown overall. I especially like the cobra roll. And the low flat turn after the loop looks like it has potential to be a butt bruiser.

Looking forward to the completion of this one! I'm a sucker for inverts, and can't wait for this one. :)

You don't really need Pro anymore, just export .dae. It's not like before where you had to use .3ds. I still use SketchUp no problem for coaster model needs.
