On the news I just saw that Cedar Fair has purchased Six Flags World's of Adventure! They said all of the rides will stay but the animals will go. The major tranformation won't occur until then end of this season because opening day is only 2 months away. The ride names will probably have to change but it will be great for SFWOA. Oh and they are re-naming it Geauga Lake again!

I just heard that as well. You say the animals are going? Wow. This is crazy. Well Cedar point always could use the space. Craziness I tell ya!

I wonder if Cedar Fair will build alot of new rides on the wildlife side for the 2005 season or just sell the whole side back to Amheuser Busch so it can become Sea World again since Six Flags sparked all of the sale of Geauga Lake in the first place and the then the sale of Sea World so I guess everything could just go back to normal but it would be better if Cedar Fair just developed it really well with a bunch of new rides?

Big Dipper, the best coaster there, will probably lose its NAD trains (best trains ever made) [:(] because of CF...

This sounds like there will be another park like CP, which is brilliant, which ever way you look at it. They might start building things like TTD there, which would be cool.

Very cool. i hope we get a great next generation coaster that's one of a kind. I know Our woodies are one of a kind and our floorless is the longest and has one of the highest loops: and it's original. I hope they don't change big Dipper's trains. why should they? they work fine.

I just realized this...Since batman, and some of the other names that are used in lots of six flags parks, do you think they will change the theme and names of some rides?

Austinpowers, they do work great, but the GP can't handle flying up 1 foot out of their seats on airtime hills, it scares them to death. They like big tall fast coasters that staple you *rolls eyes*

Anybody but Six Flags... SFWOA was in really bad shape. There was opnly one train running on The Villain, (the other train migrated to Raging Wolf Bobs...), a bunch of local punks were jumping in line all day, everything was overpriced ($13 for a freakin' fastpass, and $3 for a bottle of coke.), all of the park was filthy and covered with miscelaneous wall writing, and they seriously needed a new awesome coaster. I'm overjoyed that SFWOA got purchased by Cedar Fair. CF can turn this park into one awesome attraction.

Why do we have 2 topics going on the same exact topic....that doesn't quite make much sense.

But cjd makes a good point....now maybe Cedar Fair will bring in the free fastlane system.
