Well, this is kind of late....actually, like one and a half weeks late....but, which movie do you think should've won the Best Picture award at the Academy Awards?

Lord of the Rings cuz it had the most work put into it. It deserved it, anyways. I didn't see mystic river or lost in translation though, I think it was between LotR and MR, so I gotta see that film eventually.

Well, LOTR wins overwhelming, now, as I figured. But, The Return of The King wasn't even the best film in the series, (goes to Towers), and I believe the really BEST movie this past year was Lost in Translation. I would really advise people to see it.

i saw lost in translation at my school it was good but i like LOTR better, but they were al good (hence nominated). except for chick fliks, this kid in french class did a speech on the best pictures(dumb)

LOTR by far as well, the previews of lost in translation make it look like a really retarded movie imo and previews is what draws me to the movies. Don't know if it's as retarded as it looks in previews but they shoulda done better marketing for it imo if indeed it's a good movie.
