kinda weird poll. I said yes because its pretty much the only thing you can create a coaster with, without using a computer

I got like the first K'nex coaster, the basic looping one, it was a 100 quid, which was a bit of a rip really, it is constructed in my study, and has been since i bought it like 6 years ago, i think it looks pretty cool, its just a good thing to have sitting in the corner of your room, i suppose, but yeah i think it is good for making coasters with.

I've got the first coaster-modell of Knex and in my opinion it is the best thing to create coaster and so on with it.
I've made the poll simply to get to know what people think about it.
Because in Germany Knex is not longer on sale. The company "Hasbro" who have sold it, said that there wasn't enough profit. :-(.

Thank you for you vote!

I have all kinds of Knex rides built in my basement. All of them move with a moter except for one. That one has the solar power motor but it can't move the damn thing lol. The rides are a Huss Ranger (the solar power one), a Watkins Tempest type ride, a Mondial Inferno, and a Watkins Rampage. Their so cool that I'd hate to take them apart! But they all use up about all of my Knex so I'd have to if I wanted to build anything else.

yeah it is, my brother has Screamin Searpant, shipped it off to one of his friends house. But if I could, I would rip it apart and change some of it. Also, if I could, I probabaly buy five more and make my own large design with it.

k'nex has crappy coasters, what i do is: i take the tracks from the lego train sets, make coaster cars (with the lego paeople) and use the k'nex as the supports. i had a 2 min long ride that took up my entire living room once! its awsome! except you cant do inversions, and you cant have a lift hill. but its still a lot of fun!

This site has some awsome coaster recreations using K'nex....There's even a huge rubberband powered Top Thrill Dragster.

K'nex are cool and all, but I think this www.coasterdynamix.com is waaaay cooler. But too expensive for the average coaster enthusiast, in my opinion.
