1. What is the name of your home park?Technically my closest homepark would be Billybird Park Hemelrijk. But leaving out the small (kiddy) parks, then Toverland would be my homepark.
2. What is your favorite park?Tough question, with over 300 different parks visited it's difficult to mark a single one as my favorite. Some parks I've enjoyed a lot: Europa Park, Disney's California Adventure, Phantasialand, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens Tampa, Holiday World, Mitsui Greenland, Tokyo Joypolis, Yomiuriland and a whole lot more!
3. Name your top five coasters.Another one of those nearly impossible things to name when you've ridden over 1200 roller coasters. But the top 3 that still quite sticks to me is:
Steel:1. Maverick - Cedar Point
2. Eejanaika - Fuji-Q Highland
3. Expedition GeForce - Holiday Park
Wood:1. Boulder Dash - Lake Compounce
2. The Legend - Holiday World
3. Boardwalk Bullet - Kemah Boardwalk
4. Name your bottom five coasters.Another difficult thing to name... I enjoy quite a lot of rides. Even if they're horrible.
Wood:
135. Hurler - Carowinds
136. Roar - Six Flags America
137. Coaster Express - Parque Warner Madrid
Steel, no idea anymore... But last time filing out the Mitch Hawkers steel poll these were at the bottom:
Dizz - Bobbejaanland
Vliegende Hollander - Efteling
Sequoia Adventure - Gardaland
5. One park you would definitely never go back to is...Any of the parks that don't exist anymore. :V
6. Have you ever ridden a drop tower taller than 200 feet?Yes, several even!
7. What is your favorite wooden roller coaster?Any that was built by CCI, back in the day.
8. When you go to a park three things you must have with you are...Phone, keys, wallet. :V
9. How many times did you visit your home park last season? No idea exactly, but probably about 4-5 times?
10. The first Intamin coaster you rode is...1. Bobbaan - Efteling: 1995
2. Pegasus - Efteling: 1995
13/14. Cop Car Chase - Movie Park Germany: 1997
41. Goliath - Walibi Holland: 2002
46. Expedition GeForce - Holiday Park: 2003
11. Have you ever spent an entire day at a park alone?Yep, plenty of times. Great for marathon riding or just relaxing and experiencing a park on a completely different way.
12. What is your favorite park chain? (Six Flags, Cedar Fair, etc)None of them? Haha. I'd enjoy a private/family owned park so much more compared to those chain parks.
13. Does B&M or Intamin make better hyper coasters? State your case.B&M is great for the perfect floater kind of flying experience.
Intamin is great for the insane ejector kind of flying experience.
I prefer the more insane kind of way, not overly perfected and calculated.
14. If it was free, what upcharge ride what you jump on right now?Probably Walibi Holland's Skycoaster. It has a winch that enhances your swinging height making the entire flight fun. Instead of only that first drop.
15. What is your favorite theme park food/beverage item?I quite do like the free refills, even though it's quite bad health wise.
16. What's the worst dark ride you've ever done? One that wasn't in the dark? tbh, I'd have no idea. Dark rides are quite fun and as soon as they turn bad or horrible, they become hilariously fun.
17. What's the best thing about your home park besides the rides?Their attention to detail and improvements on even the smallest things.
18. Favorite water ride in a dry park (flume, rapids, etc)Definitely the rapids at Cedar Point. That ending is just omg and wtf. I'd go back just for that! xD
19. Do you get your photo taken with park mascots?Depends on it. If I'm not busy trying to ride all the things, if the mascots aren't too busy entertaining other folks, etc.
20. Name one personal item you've lost at a park.My elastic strap for my glasses, probably fell out of my pockets... :C
21. Name the worst launched coaster you've ever ridden.Probably Mick Doohan's Motocoaster at Dreamworld. I don't know what Intamin was smoking but those trains were far from comfortable. The layout itself wasn't too interesting either.
22. Name your favorite coaster under 100 feet (30.5 meters) tall.I wanted to say Maverick, but I think that was just over 100ft tall.
I think I'll resort to Blackpool's Wild Mouse (R.I.P.), that thing was amazing and gold.
23. Name your favorite coaster/ride manufacturer.Custom Coasters International, still hands down my favorite rides. 2nd place would be Martin & Vleminckx, the IMO much better subbranch from GravityGroup/GravityKraft.
24. What waterpark have you visited most often?I think Duinrell and what used to be Wet 'n Wild in Orlando are probably tied first place. I enjoyed Wet 'n Wild so much, those Mach 5 slides and H??O were great rides.
25. The name of the fastest wooden coaster you have ridden is...2nd fastest in the world: Goliath - Six Flags Great America, 115,9 km/h
4th fastest in the world: El Toro - Six Flags Great Adventure, 112,7 km/h
5th fastest in the world: Colossos Kampf der Giganten - Heide Park, 110,0 km/h
6th fastest in the world: Outlaw Run - Silver Dollar City, 109,4 km/h
7th fastest in the world: Voyage - Holiday World, 107,8 km/h
(Basically the entire Top 10 at RCDB, except the 1st and 3rd)
26. What is the name of the flat ride you've ridden the most?I think that's Toverland's Tea Cups ride. Those can spin to some insane speeds if you have the power.
27. Name a ride-related injury you have suffered.Bruised legs from Expedition GeForce's airtime after a marathon.
28. Favorite Halloween event at a park?Walibi Fright Nights back in 2007.
29. Name the most recent Arrow ride or coaster you've been on...I think that was last year the Big One at Blackpool. I remember closing the day with that ride. Can't recall any more recent arrow's I've ridden.
30. What's the most intense coaster you've ever ridden?Tornado @ Bakken. Whatever Intamin was smoking, I need it. That thing is insane, intense and completely ludicrous.
31. What is your favorite themed land in a park?A good looking one!
32. How many RMC's have you been on?8 so far: 6 Iron Boxes and 2 Topper Tracks.
33. What's your current credit count?1215 different rollercoasters, which 1078 are Steel and 137 are wood at time of writing. For my most current count, just check my signature below.
34. Do you ever spend the extra money for a skip-the-line pass when you're visiting a new park?Depends on the expected crowds, if I'm expecting huge crowds and the price is do-able. I might as well go for it.
35. Vekoma SLCs; yea or nay?All depends on the type of trains! The original Vekoma OTSR's are alright, those Kumbak trains are absolutely horrendous and the next generation Vekoma trains are a godsend.
36. How many different parks did you go to last season?31 that contained new coasters. This is including a buttload of tiny kiddy parks with a big apple or butterfly coaster. :V You can probably add an additional 5-10 themeparks which are on the yearly visit.
37. What is your favorite indoor coaster?Haven't done too many that actually stand out. The only one I can think of would be the Mummy at Universal Studios Orlando.
38. When you spend the day at the park what do you drink all day?Water, with the occasional soda in a while.
39. The name of the best B&M you've ridden is?No way to properly compare all the different types so here's the best I've ridden per type:
Stand up: Iron Wolf
Mega Coaster: Goliath
Invert: Katun
Sit Down: Kumba
Floorless: Superman La Attraction De Acero
Dive: Griffon
Flying: Starry Sky Ripper
Wing: Thunderbird
40. End this post with an onride photo of you. If you don't have one, just show as a picture you've taken of your favorite coaster. An illigal selfie because the ride broke down and they didn't care/notice.
Most recent one from Zadra.
And my 1200th coaster: Formula.
