Hainan Ocean Paradise in Hainan China will be getting an Intamin vertical lift coaster similar to Fahrenheit this year. They will also be getting an Intamin spinner similar to Tornado at Bakken.

That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.

Nice to finally see another one of these being constructed. I hope certain parts of it don't ride as slow as the animation shows.

I've been waiting for another one of both coasters to show up for a long, long time...
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

I wonder if this will be better than Fahrenheit... no offense to Hershey Park. Just wondering so.

Layout wise it looks more fun and better than Fahrenheit. Should be interesting. :)

Looks pretty solid to me. Definitely picks up in the latter half of the ride.

Going to bump this thread with some new information.

There hasn't been much going on for a while, mainly because the park has been progressing very slowly. The Intamin Vertical Lift coaster hasn't gone vertical even though track has been spotted for said coaster. But there are other developments that are worth sharing.

First are these aerial images of the park from fairly recently. What's interesting is that you can see a coaster has gone up, but it's not the Intamin vertical lift, but the other Intamin coming to the park, which is a spinning coaster similar to Tornado at Bakken:

Here are also some images of some of the other attractions currently installed in the park, which includes an observation tower, an S&S shot tower, a water ride and a monorail:

Finally here's a overhead plan of the park showing the layout of the park and the layout of the Intamin Vertical Lift coaster:

The park is due to open in 2019, but it's been pushed back so many times over the past few years. So at this point, who knows when it eventually open.

Well, it's been along time coming, but the Intamin Vertical Lift coaster at Hainan Ocean Paradise has finally gone vertical:

Also, here's a closer look at the Intamin Spinning Coaster which has already been installed for a while now:

Exciting! I love the layout on the Intamin! I hope there's a little more hangtime on the loop than the animation shows however.

I had thought it was quite strange we hadn't seen another one of these pop up anywhere. Always thought Fahrenheit looked like a really solid coaster.
