Do-Donpa at Fuji-Q Highland Park has been shutdown after having various reports of riders breaking bones on the ride. At least 6 riders have suffered fractures since December. The ride is closed til further notice.

I wonder if they're somehow gonna have to lengthen the launch track so that a slower acceleration can be possible, or convert it into a lift hill.
Also, the article incorrectly states that it's the fastest coaster when it's actually the fastest accelerating coaster.

I wonder why this is happening now? Is this an issue they had before they changed to the loop from having a top hat? I don't recall reports like this before the conversion.
