and it's the last total eclipse until 2007 for those who like to sit out in the cold staring at the sky. I took some pix to share with you all...

Its hard to take pictures of the moon or celestial objects because they move or we move, or both. So that means you need a small exposure time to get the right focus. That, means you need a HUGE super zoom lens (like one of thsoe awesome 1200 or 2400mm lenses..mmm) and those needs HUGE aperatures to suck in alot of light.

I went and took some stills tonight with a 400zoom and I had to do 15 and 30 second exposures. Im betting most of them are blurred but hey, it was worth the shot. I did a few 8's just to see, but thats where I wish I had the Digital Rebel SLR so I Could just switch to like 1600 or 800 ISO and take some sharper shots and just play with it in Photoshop to bring it back from being so grainy....hopefully with a second job Ill have that Digital Rebel and I can do better stuff. I also was a multiplier for my lens to make it an 800....ahhh, so much money, so little hours at work.

It was a Pain in the ass, i am a HUGE RED SOX fan, as you might know, and i wanted to watch the Eclipse. Back and forth
so i finaly brought my CD player out, i listen to the tv with it. and then i got really cold. so i came in. But it was amazing.
