Story
In case you think of a good story for this round, you can contact me via PM
Round 3 of the No Limits tournament.
I couldn't really think of a story to fit this challenge and stories tend to cause confusion anyway. However you are facing a new challenge again and this one is not going to be easy. The template is like no other and should give a nice result when you're coaster is done. So probably you'll also manage to get a good rating on the originality without too much effort [;)]
This time you?????????ll have to build in a tight template and as you can see, everything has to be in it. Supports and track should all be in the area which has been marked green. Quite a tightfit challenge I think. You can pick between two track styles, the inverted 2 seat and the inverted 4 seat. So what?????????s it gonna be B&M or Vekoma? Except for the template and the trackstyles there aren?????????t any unusual limits. You can decide how long you want it to be, if you want it to be duelling, do whatever you like. The restrictions you do have are listed below.
Download the template here
The rules:
- Track style must be inverted 2 seat or inverted 4 seat
- There is no height limit
- G Force limits: Vert.: -2G / + 5.5G Lat.: -2G / + 2G Acc: -3G / + 5G
- Supports and track must be inside the figure 8 itself, thus inside the area which has been marked green on the screenshot.
- Coaster must run with 3 or more trains.
- Each train must have 7 or more cars.
- Duelling/racing coasters are allowed.
- You may not submit old tracks. (this means you have to create a new track for this contest and not just take an old design of yours which fits the rules)
- All NL tools are allowed, including the terraformer. However, take it easy with the terraformer. This ride has to be realistic, so you can't build it on a mountain or something. However small land features, water elements, tunnels and trees are will be well received
- Shuttle coasters are not allowed.
- There is no restriction on the number of inversions
- All additional theming is allowed and will be awarded with small bonuses.
- Submit your track at gforceaddict@coastercrazy.com
- Deadline: 2nd of May 23:59 GMT (= 18:59 EST)

Tips:
This tutorial might come in handy if you are going to create cartextures. You can also download worksheets for both trackstyles here.
This tutorial might come in handy if you want to create a custom environment.
Who will you be facing?
In round three you?????????ll be duelling. This means it is a 1 vs. 1 competition. The winner of each group will advance to the next round.
Group 1: cjd vs. Bockzilla
Group 2: The Edge vs. Buster
Reserve: Bino-Maus
Status:
Green: Track recieved
Red: The person dropped out
Orange: Problem with file
White: Waiting for track
Number in brackets: number of times I recieved a trackfile
So what are the reserves for?
If you are a reserve you also have to build and submit a track. When someone drops out from the normal competition your track will jump in. If your track wins, you?????????ll stay in the main contest and proceed to the next round.
Example: Buster drops out from group 2. This means a reserve will jump in.
The reserve that submitted his track the fastest will jump in.
Example: I received two tracks, first one from WeeWeeSlap at March 26 and I received a second track from Coaster Individual, this means WeeWeeslap will fill up the gap that Buster left for him.
Questions & Answers
If you have any questions you can post them in this topic. I will try to answer your question A.S.A.P. Your question and the answer will be posted under this header.
Q:Ok, I have a question... No supports are allowed outside of area, ok. But would it be allowed to connect supports to theming outside the area?
I mean, what If I put some stone wall directly on the edge of the area and have supports come from there? Would that be allowed or would you judge the theming as a support that is outside?
A: You can have supports outside of the template, but not in a supporting function. So supports which actually support the track should be placed inside the template. However, when you are using the supports from theming purposes (when they aren't directly or in-directly connected to the track) then it is allowed to use them outside the template.
