hi which space mountain are gettin the new track and is it a different layout ??

I believe it is the one at Disneyland. I'm not certain on the layout though.

yes, the one at disneyland is getting a completely new inside. not just the track and layout, the entire interior is changing. its gonna be COOL! but im kinda curious as to why they're re-doing disneyland's space mountain.. the one in florida is older.

When will space mountain be open??? I heared about the new layout as well so im excited on what it will be like once its open.

once in a while www.westcoasternet.com will show Disneyland updates...last I saw was the arrival of track peices and supports

they have an inside view of Space (or Rocket) Mountain with the lights on while the train is running

I'm pretty sure that Space Mountain will open sometime in 2005.

I think I heard Summer of 2005. Hopefully their improvements they're doing will actually improve the ride. The old layout was pretty sweet. My brother actually thought we were in space flyin around...but then again, he wasn't even in Kindergarten yet

this is disney.. everything they do to their parks only improoves them (except some of california adventure)

The ride is gonna be open 2005, and supposedly they are adding inversions to it, which would be awesome.

where was that heard from? That'd be sweet if they fixed it up with inversions...but do they even have enough room to do it? The old one had a tight enough layout.

they have enough room.. just look at the dlp spacemountain, or rockin' roller cosater [;)]

I don't believe there will be any changes to the layout from the information I heard. They are just replacing the track with the same layout. They will be enhancing the special effects and updating the theming though. New music as well.
