In England we dont really get many spread-out costers because of planning permission etc. and definately I find them the best.

heh, id prefer the compact intese coasters. sometimes it pulss more pos. g's like hurricane in Santa Cruz.

i personally like the bigger, more spread-out coasters just because they don't kill my framerates as much lol. [pshades]

I like both. But compact coaster are looking more like the original coasters.

I prefer compact coasters but I don't think that the ones I have build are small, they're just compact. [:D]

IMO it's quite difficult to build a very compact coaster. but i'm making my coasters slowly more compact[:D][:P]

I think large lay-outs are cool, cause the're most of the time faster, and taller

that's not always, take a look at my vertical extreme, In My Opion it's compact and still very high.

Roelywoely is right I think, Coasters with larger lay outs will tend to be faster and taller. You can make them compact but its very difficult, but there is no need to make a coaster taller and faster, because if you make it extremely compact then you give the illusion of speed without actually having to go that high or fast. I just think smaller compact coasters tend to be more thrilling than big tall hefers.
