it would suck if you have made alot of onride video's and on the last coaster you will be noticed. you'll get to the staff area and your on-ride video will be erased, they notice all your other on-ride video's and you'll get banned out of the park or you lose your cam. so i'm not gonna make on-ride video's. to give up a great park or give up an expensive cam!

Once, I brought my mom's camera bag on batman at sfog. I sat the camera bag in my lap and the didn't even tell me to get rid of it! When it was going up the lift I took it out, made the onride video, then when it got into the brake run to stop for another train, I put it back in! Also, at the mindbender next to batman I just took out a disposable camera and started taking pictures.

I brought a regular cam on boomerang...was kinda scary tho having it out while the ride was going being as it wasn't quite my camera. I had to suddenly hide it as teh train pulled back into the station.

you know, parks have those rules for a reason, all it takes if your you to lose your grip on the cam for a sec, and it will go flying out of your hand possibly hitting someone sitting around you, or even someone on the ground. If you really want to get an on-ride vid just call and ask the park manegers. and get proper equipment to do it in a safe and way clearer way.

yeah, all you have to do is get permission from park management... and basically, i think at sfne, all you have to do to secure the camera is to duck-tape the camera to your hand and then do the recording..... but yeah, just get permission from management

yeah, that's why you securely tie it around your belt, wear the harness, and some other stuff, so that reason won't even be an issue when you pull your camera out, [8D], but with all that equipment, the camara would be stable, I'm sure the manager would agree, after all it's basically free advertizement.

okay, if you want to do an onride video, all you have to do is ask the park manager if you can come back when the park is closed to make the video.. why do you think there is never anyone on the rides in all them coaster videos? for shots of people on the ride, they have ACE members who volunteer for the ride while filming, and then the onride video is taken when the park is closed. so, if you want to do a safe onride video without getting kicked out, ask the manager if you can come back when the park is closed (before / after operating hours.

What planet are you on? That does not happena at all. Ace members have priorites and generaly book there visits in advanced. Most Ace members are allowed to take cameras onride, take robb mcavley at www.themeparkreview.com
