The reason for that is you have to be a lot more than a good quality modeler to do the low poly. You have to be a great textuter as well. You have to make up for the loss of raytrace, bump mapping, shading and a host of other render functions with some handy Photoshop work.
Please do not missconstrue my post. Great looking model, it looks sweet can not wait to see it when you have an interior as well .
first of all, this is poly modeling, and second of all i highly dissagree. High poly modeling is so much harder then low poly mainly becuase of alot more detail that needs to be modeled in, but also becuase you are normally having to work under a mesh smooth, which means that your mesh NEEDS a proper structure, other wise the smoothing prosess really screws up in those areas which where not done properly.
