Honest truth, the site looks terrible. Nothing is being rendered right on the main page.

I run the same resolution. What font are you using, it may be substituted for us with a generic one if you are running some specialized one. Stick to your basic fonts: Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman, Helvetica, Etc..

Don't use that font, because if someone doesn't have it, it is substituted and can mess things up is sizes are different.

I HAVE THAT FONT! :), but this site looks quite sucky, I mean all credit for trying to make a site, but to be honest, it looks terrible, there is a load of writing at the bottom of the screen on the main page, written in "pricedown" which you can hardly read! because its too small. I think this site needs a looooooooot of work.

Besides the physical appearance of the site which has been commented on, I think the idea of you to host coasters NOT made by you is wrong. Anyone who uplaods coasters here, or at any other track exchange site, uploads those coasters at these sites for a reason.

Everything is quite out of wack on this screen. [:(]

Can I suggest that you replace your layers with tables ... it will probably fix many of your display problems.

Back when I used layers for sites I found that certain browsers couldn't render them correctly. Stick to tables ! [;)]

Ok sorry for the problem with the main page. I didnt realize it would screw everything up. Anyways its being worked on right as i speak. Should be fixed in a couple of days. Thank you. Any why not layers? There alot easier than tables(there so difficuktto work with)

I've found tables hard to start with but get easier with practice. [;)]

One of the biggest problems with layers is that you specify an exact location for it to display.

While this may seem to have its advantages what happens when someone using 800x600 and your layer is set to display this text at 900px ?

It just creates a large scrollbar across the screen and users will need to scroll across to see this layer's contents. [:P]

Tables on the other hand are much more aware of user screen resolutions. They can use percents of the screen instead of exact locations and only create a scroll bar if there is not enough room to display the content.

[breathes] [:O] I hope that makes sense ... [:P]

What program do you use to create your site anyway ?

NOTE TO ALL WHO HAD REGISTERED ON THE FORUMS

A stupid arsehole (me) was clever enough to delete the database, crashing the forums.

All has been reinstalled, but all who had registered will have to register again. Sorry for the inconvenience...

And soon should be within this week Sparky :)
