Anim8or?????????????????

To make 3ds, I use anim8or. But I'd like to know how to make fire! I tried these 2 tutorials, but I still don't get it.

1: Go to http://www.anim8or.com/main/index.html then click forum, then click General Anim8or Forum, then U see a topic that's called 'fire'. I followed the tutorial but
i still don't understand. Plz help[:(][:(][:(]

Go to the resources page (link is on the left) and check out a program called terranim8or. It does all kinds of amazing things, including fire.

Yeah, I know. I downloaded it but when you create fire it's so fake, it's just ugly. I'd like to try the other option but I don't know how.

I would also like to add that you don't necessarily have to use a sphere, and if you deform the object lots then you should subdivide it.

terranim8or isn't suppose to be for making fire, it's so you can make a scene in general, fire could be included.

I know. But what Dirk said, I already read it and tried it. But when I do that, I get something really strange.
