RCT2 Error Trapper Problem

As I said that I have recently picked up RCT2 again I realized that I have the same issue that I did before I stopped playing RCT2. The problem is that while playing RCT2 an error trapper thing comes up and then forces you to close the program. So far the only thing that triggers this issue is racing coasters, whenever I hit the synchronize with adjacent stations and open both tracks the error trapper happens. I have had RCT2 since it came out and at first it wasnt an issue and it never happened, but all of a sudden it started. Anyway does any one have any advice or websites with patches, or do you think that it may just be a defective CD? Thanks!

are you using any trainers? usually it happens to me when i have a trainer on

no and i dont even know wat a trainer is!!!

oh in that case, have you tried reinstallling the game? get rid of all files, start over?

yep but i am wonderin if the cd is defective because no one else seems to have this issue, but i may just wait and buy the "gold" pack of all three games, since i dont have WW or TT

i have only also rct2 with not update and i ahve not problem with it, sometimes i get also an error trapper but that is every time different.

why dont you both just re-install it?

ooooo cool i found info on a website that if u r running another program in the backroung error trappers may occur so u have to make sure that only RCT2 is running, now it worx!

good job, time and effort is the ke....oh who am i kidding

I'm running other programs all the time while playing RCT...I switch back and forth so I dont have to keep reloading RCT
