Raging Bull, Nitro, and Silver Star have airtime? Nah, more like negative g. Airtime is when your butt leaves the seat [;)]

Wildfire has "butt off of your seat" airtime on the first drop. Your butt doesn't even touch the seat again until you reach the bottom of the hill, which feels really odd since your feet are dangling too. This was my first B&M sitdown looper, but I found the restraints to be very unrestrictive (is that a word? lol). Are they all not like this?

Wow, seems quite different than the average B&M looper [:)] All of the B&M loopers I rode had restrictive stapling restraints and no airtime Insert

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was expecting before riding it because that's what I've always heard about B&M loopers. Thankfully, I was surprised. [:D] The OTSR locked in place about 4 inches from my lap everytime I rode it. I didn't appear to have any control over how the restraint was positioned, and the ride ops (one of which was a 60+ year old man) never attempted to press it down further. Was I just lucky? Also, is Wildfire the only sitdown looper that have these types of seats? They are almost like floorless trains, only there are actually floors (in other words, your feet dangle).

I'm goin with woodies b/c they're more exciting for less track. Steel coasters don't have the lattice supports and rarely have the kinds of head chops you find on woodies...

Furbies like me say Steel.

Although the most recent type I've been on is actually Wooden...

I mean without going upside-down! [peakhill]
