awful rate

im sorry for starting something but i am very dissapointed at tylers rate for my xenops track. he it a 2 for adrenaline and 5 for originality. can anybody go ride that and tell me that the adren. is worth 2. ANYONE. i would like this fixed.

Unfortunately, I cannot do anything about this rate. Although the rating seemed way too low IMO, Tyler gave ample reasons why he gave the ratings he did, and therefore the rating cannot be deleted. One thing that I can do for you is rate it myself, and give you more information, which I will go do now.

Well first, let me say that what you look for in a ride may not be what everyone else looks for.

Some people grade honestly and DONT sugar coat everything just to play nice. Remember, everyone has their own opinions, dislikes and likes. Just because you built it and like it doesnt mean everyone will and also just because you think it "deserves" a certain number doesnt mean anything either.


As for his rate, I think it should stand. The ride does get really repetitive and I actually fast forwarded through the last half cause it just didnt entertain me. Also the 5 on Tech is high considering the trackwork was average and the trains crashed easily. Thats a huge no-no.

His Ad is maybe a touch low, but still, heres the real question. Does that rating have a bearing on your everyday life? Is it such a big deal that someone else didnt like your ride? I think its being taken too seriously, especially since he explained why he didnt like it. Had he given no information Id definatly agree, but he told you what he felt. Thats not good enough?

Enough said. The rating stays. And I just noticed... this topic is in the wrong forum. Please post it in the rating complaints forum next time. Well, I'm not a moderator on this forum, just the complaints, so WWS or GFA, can you please move this topic to the appropriate forum and lock it?

ok, im not to personally mad about the rate. im a loose person, dont worry about me having a fit or anything cus im not. i was just kinda bummed that getting a low rate nobody would download it and ride it. and it took too much work to be ignored cus it is rated bad.

SFMM, I also fast forwarded through the track due to a touch of boredom, hence why I did not rate it either. Personally, from my eyes the tech is about a 4 (or so due to the availability of crashing) and this is about a 5.5 - 6.5 overall score, so since I felt it did not help that much I left the rating to others. However, if you want the rate let me know and I will square it away after church today.

As for the rate, meh, deal with it, the point of ratings is to learn, I hate it when you don't get any valuable[correct my spelling someone] comments, and just quick jibberish. I mean getting a 10 with little comment is good for your ride, but it doesn't make you learn anything new, so as long as someone gives good comments, and they represent thier rates, I'm happy, I guess.

Although I argue about rates once in a while, it is the feedback that counts. Yea a number can rate your coaster, but its the feedback and comments that allow you to improve in the future. It seems fair to me IMO.
