redbrad0 is on the verge of finishing a web based e-mail checking system. We were wondering if any of you are interested in purchasing a web based e-mail system? Can be used in outlook or other mail clents so basically you get the e-mail address and can check it frm anywhere. Much like yahoo but without ads. You would pay a yearly fee for x amount of web space e-mail and attachments. Do you think you guys would purchase such? Those of you who already have a coastercrazy.com address, please don't vote, only those that don't. Also let me know if say $15 a year for 15 megs and 10 meg max attachments? I know you think you say yahoo is cheaper, but you'd get more space here and more attachment space and 0 ads. Let me know what you guys think.

I would, once I get a job... So that could possibly be this summer, depending on what I'm doing, how much summer school I'm taking, and if my Dad's office has anything for me to do.... which he thinks he does.

One thing you guys with free accounts need to keep in mind is that more and more sites are blocking those since anyone can get one by putting in fake info. I know on my site I had to ban a few free email providers due to massive spamming. As far as a coastercrazy.com account, would it be possible to do it with coastercrazy.com as well/instead? Some non-informed people might really wonder about the weeweeslap name [:)]

good points and very true, I use yahoo for some of my important e-mails and well e-mails from my domain registrar and other host of sites get automatically rerouted to a spam folder regardless of setting e-mails from them as acceptable for my inbox. They see it as competition but I do get a bunch of junk mail in there. I am pretty sure that it is doable with the coastercrazy.com domain as well. I have not attempted it but however if anyone does send to a coastercrazy.com it is redirected to my account at coastercrazy.com. I would have to talk to brad about it but I am sure it is doable to get username@coastercrazy.com addresses. At school I used my coastercrazy.com addresses for the class e-mails from the instructor and the server admins there black listed my account and said I couldn't use a porn addres to receive mail from the school. Had to send in a request to the vice president to look at the site to see it wasn't porn related, after 3 weeks I was allowed to use it [lol]

True, yahoo and hotmail are extremely filtered. The place I work, the spam filter uses a point system (higher the points, more likely it is spam), and when a hotmail or yahoo message comes in it is automatically put 1 point against it right away just for being hotmail or yahoo. After that it still has to deal with all the other filtering to verify if it is spam or not.

It is a nice idea, however I have a free account already, and I don't want to check more than one e-mail account. When I started at th university that I am attending they forced me to use their account by sending important emails to that account only. I was not happy. Then I learned that I could forward all those to my hotmail account. I may be interested if the price was lower, but I know you have to make money somehow![:)][;)]
