Most likely any coaster. I understand that alot of people have the same speculations but more than B&M makes dive coasters. It can be any kinda coaster at this point in the game im just glad they are getting another addition regardless if its a coaster or a restroom!!

hmm seems similar to oblivion just with a splashdown. I love the way they call the over banked turn a vertical roll...hmm i doubt it will happen

Haha....'Possible 2005 layout.'

Yeah, lol, those pics are from the B&M dive machine patents...they're the patent pictures that were drawn up.

I hope its not a dive machine. Florida need a hyper coaster! Be nice if it was,but I dont think they got the room.

at least Bush Gardens is getting a coaster, at Sea World down here in San Diego, where stuck with Journey to Atlantis and some really fun "rapid ride", (probably the best "rapid ride" I've ever been on)

I live in Tampa, so I can confirm that it is most definitely a vertical drop coaster. The St. Petersburg Times sat down with Busch officials, and as confirmed on May 5, building permits have been filed for "CONSTRUCT "FND" FOR COASTER HS7B" and "CONSTRUCT 2-STY COASTER BLDG (BLDG#20) HS7B". Bolliger and Mabillard have been hired for the project, a 2-acre section of Stanleyville is being torn up and fenced off, and there is approval for the construction of a 1.1 million dollar loading station. However, the park is not going to be announcing anything officialy until the summer season is over, so that their guests will not be tempted to postpone their trip until next year. Personally, I can't wait. I just wish that B&M could make a ride like this that is more than just a drop and a turn back into the station. They've become so un-original in the last 4 years.

Do they have one of those sites for Paromounts Carowinds?

Oblivion when it opened in 1998 i wouldnt have said was un-original when it opened, however opening two clones of the ride across the world is un-original. I would have been nice if oblivion was unique and i cant really see a clone of oblivion not being in the X Sector at Alton Towers. Btw ive also heard from other sources (coasterforce.com HAHAHAA) that it was going to be a B&M 4d coaster...i laughed, and i would very much doubt it, although a 4d coaster would be better than a Dive Machine imo

Well, I think its a billion times better than Oblivion, just because it has a splashdown, anything more than Oblivion has got would be better than Oblivion, although thats not hard to do because Oblivion is just crap sticks. It looks ok, but still it doesn't really do anything, and will probably be only a little less boring than oblivion is.

what BGT really needs is an Intamin Hypercoaster... it would take up less space, give more airtime, be quiet-running enough for the animals, and have a shot at being rated on the Golden Ticket Awards and give BGT some serious attention from Coaster Enthusiasts. Plus, what could look better than a giant steel structure dominating the horizon and whispering "ride me... ride me... ride me..." in the ears of guests entering the park. I have bothered park management about this for years, but naturally they aren't listening. Still, I think a hyper is just what they need to snag the coaster-lovers away from Universal Studios. Does anyone agree with me or should I just shut up?
