You see, they are true metal. Not craptastic like Linkin Park, or Hoobastank, but true metal.

Their music is hard, intense, melodic, and powerful.

Havn't heard any of their stuff before until now, but their new single is pretty awesome.

Never heard of them, Linkin Park is cool, but i dont consider them metal or heavy metal, just something a little different because of the rap parts that are in most of their songs. I dont think i heard any heavy metal though.

Killswitch engage....not too fond of them. Too much just shouting down the microphone which unfortuanly is a sterotype for heavy metal. I prefer something with more of a tune rather than slamming rythm guitars. Although Killswitch Engage does have a couple of nice licks at the end of some of the main riffs...me is typing as listening to the song....See the slow bit in the middle is ruined by someone screaming

Metallica very rarely screams. I mean jesus, have you ever listened to Metallica? Also during Metallica solo's, there is rarely any singing at all... Another thing is Metallica is a lot more than slamming rhythm guitars. I don't know why I'm responding to such an ignorant stupid statement. I guess I'm just bored.

As for this KsE band... Not bad, lots of screaming, I don't mind it. I would listen to this without complaining.

Devildriver is much better though.

You misunderstood MoP, I meant what he preferred and the good parts were describing Metallica, as they are an awesome band and I'd never say anything against them.[^]

You know, everyone has their own style of music, their own bands they like, so nobody start getting mad at other peoples opinions. Jeesh! its like if some says that this band sucks, another person would start arguing with him that it doesnt suck. We dont need no stinking arguments over opinions. I mean, you can prove people wrong about how the bands music goes, but starting an argument doesnt prove anything. I like rock and punk, others like other stuff. Everyone likes who they like. Got it?

While everyone likes what they like, we're also all allowed to express our opinion of the music.

Yea definitely, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, ESPECIALLY when it comes to music, though sometimes the arguments can be constructive.
