As known in another topic, I am working on the Storm Runner coaster at Hersheypark. Without pointing my opinion up in heaven, I think this recreation is rather smooth for so far. Only I have a problem, I really don't know the ending of this coaster. I have created an imaginary end on it, but I want it to be realistic.

As putted above, the coaster is not realistic enough to put online, but you will find a try out version. I hope you like it and you can give me a honest advice about finishing this coaster. There are some mistakes in it, I know. Unfortunately I have to judge the design from pictures so that makes it a little harder . . .

I hope someone can help!

The supporting is the thing that I like most about building a coaster . . . what did you improve at the endig? Can you mail me the updated track??? If you like you can do the terra forming, because I am horrible in that piece of track working.

Left, the new one . . . Right, the old one . . .

The new layout of this coaster . . . the brake was placed wrong and the flying-snake-dive (whatever) had to stand on another angle to the diveloop, I think all is in the right place now, the only problem is that my track is about 60 meters to short. But I calculated that they might have counted both stations, but also then, I still need another 20 meters before it is the right size . . .

I've made a couple of new screenshots. The trackwork is almost done, there are some rough spots but I am working on that pieces. The supports will be totally custom build and just the same as the ones underneath the real one. Later one I will make some terra forming around it.

From your first version of the track, coming into the heartline it perfectly levels out...in real life it doesnt completely level out, but starts banking into the heartline when the track is at about a 10 degree incline.

Also, the Cobra Loop is very different. When it exits it wraps around, then banks and dives. Yours is more similiar to a B&M roll over ie. Superman @ WBMW. The colors of the track should also be the same as the rail color.

I'm not sure if you changed this, but after the double turn before the brakerun theres a small bunny hop coming into the brakes on the real coaster, catching a bit of airtime. I know you changed the ending on your new version, but just make sure it has that [;)]

The last thing is that your coaster has -1.3g, which is a bit much, even for a rocket coaster. I would get it to about -.8 to -1g entering the heartline, and for the tophat it shouldn't go above -1.1g, and it shouldn't even be sustained too much with that amount of force. Anymore than that could damage riders' eyes.

besides those issues, its really looking great! The support work looks really good too [:)]
