look if you phink that dis ride looks a bit like project strata force olrigt i onderstand dat!.

But this ride hafe some good parts to if you ask my.
To give it a 5 i don't onderstand!

I have spend months of work on it!
Evrywone gives it a 10 or a 9.
but one gay gives a 5.
I realy fink dis is a realy bad rate!

Ik vind het ook een beetje klets. Maakt iemand een kei mooie en goede baan. Iedereen geeft hem een goed punt en dan geeft iemand hem een 5. Dat kan toch niet. Of hij is jaloers of hij is gek, maar een 5 geven voor zo'n baan kan echt niet.

i have explained my rating. When you say that in your opinion it is good, that is a very biased opinion.

Hey guys, first of all I have to say the track has been massively overrated and which is currently being discussed in the staff room.

Anyway, about that rating. The rating will stay since shortkid knows what he is talking about and many others here do not. Next to that the rating is well explained. The score might be a bit harsch and I have to admit I would have raten it slightly higher because it's obvious you've put a lot of work into it. But everyone is entitled to have his own opinion and we respect that as long as an opinion is being explained. The opinion in this case is explained and not that far of the score it really deserves and therefore the rating will stay.

Maybe something will be done about the many straight 10 ratings but we need to discuss that with the entire staff first. For now, this case is closed.

I dont know if you realized, but i said that i was giving you an average rating. Last time i check, and average rating isnt really a low rate. Also, average is the middle, which in a 10 point scale is 5. Therefore, i merely gave you an average rate. Now i know that as soon as i post this, people will say, no its a 7. No, their wrong. If you do 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10, you have 55. 55/10=5.5. So, yes, i guess i did give you a low rate, but by ownly 0.5. That can be attributed to the amount of useless elements. Here ill show you what i mean:

Ok, that was your track layout. There were 7 Overbanks (28%), 10 Hills (40%), and 8 misc elements (32%). How is that original? How does that deserve a good score?

I think that shortkid422 have rate this coaster good because it`s his opiniun of the coaster

I think jan was trying to say "guy" . Personally, I thought it was a very good coaster and has clearly had a lot of time spent on it, while maybe not being the most original of coasters, I didn't want to rate jan down too much for it, because of how much time has clearly gone into making this ride. Thats my opinion any way.

On the subject of strangely low rates, has anyone seen DjJavixxxxx's rating on my latest coaster "Vertical Limit"? His rating also seems very out of place and his ratings often do on my rides, his ratings are always very low on everyones rides and in my view, always rather harsh!

I was wondering about that coaster when I was looking at the ratings...I was kinda skeptical when I saw the 1st 5 rating, but shortkid's gave it a little more credit - he knows what he's doing. And jan - if you're so upset, just fix some of the stuff people say, release a second version and you'll get a higher score.

@shorty, the ride derservs more that a 5, yes you explained it well, but i think it is still kinda an under rate, yes, you shouldn't rate a coaster on the 3DS, but if someone spends months on it, you'd think they should get somthin extra. and the drop was differnt than psf in sevral ways, also the ride only had some simularity, mot that much.

@gouldy: Javixx gave it an 7.83, wich is very close to an 8, wich is only 1 point below the ride avarige! complaning about a 1.2-(or somthin like that)-differance is crazy! he has under rateed alot, but that rate is well-axplained and pertty fair

@Jan: you kinda over-reacted, if your coaster doesnt get a 9.9 it isnt the end of the world, it is quite obivios that you'll still get the gold medal too, so its still cool.

all of yall should just chill, it is ok if your coaster gets like 1 point below what you wanted it to be!

I am letting GFA handle this one. I think he should check out some of the admin tools like the rate tracker to see averages and what not of users along with comments etc. Anyway I am not getting involved in this one. GFA picked it up so he can handle it and lock it when done with a good explanation.

ok. Btw Grim, 7-8 is NOT average. 5 is average. Its just that alot of people, especially newbs decide that (1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1)/10 now ='s 7 instead of 5.5 (average)
