Finally! Yes! I've always wanted Suspended Coasters to be in a Sim, and SM delivers! [:D] [:D]

I was thinking about buying SM and I think this has made the decision for me. Oh my god, this rocks. I love suspended. I don't think they were ever taken to their full potential. I wish they hadn't stopped making them. Oh well, now we'll be able to.

This is awesome. I remember riding on a coaster called the Ninja over in Disnyland.
It just swings you side to side as you roll. Hope this is related but man this was
fun:)

(Disney parks have no good rides)
This was one of the track types that I was really looking forward to. I hope tilt coasters come next, then a traditional pipeline coaster track type, like Ultra Twister.

Next up will be SM2 most likely. The current engine is pretty much maxed out as far as features go, and I need to save some styles for the sequel [:)]

What the!? I'll let that one pass this time. ;)

Although I don't own SM, those suspened coasters look awesome. Are they more challenging to design realisticly because of lateral G's (Like RCT1-2?)

They are a little more challenging in some ways, and easier in others. The transitions have to be more gradual usually, but they don't have to be perfectly smooth. The swinging can cover up a lot of mistakes [:)]

Ok well I have RCT2 and NL but I would have SM, however, is there a mac version of SM? Because I have a real crappy pc i use RCT2 on and it has no internet connection (hence i dont upload my RCT2 rides) and i dont think itll be able to handle the advanced graphics. Then i have my super speedy mac g4 laptop, which runs NL so smooth. So are you plannig on releasing a mac version? is the question.

I don't have any immediate plans for a mac version. The code part would be extremely easy since SM doesn't use the Windows GDI for its editor. So all I'd have to do is swap out the windows-based class with a mac (or linux, etc). But the only Mac I have access to is pretty old.

I agree, I know when I went on Ninja, when the ride stop, I felt like they just left me hanging their mid-ride, and I was craving more. And I think I might by this game myself.

I have a Mac and a friend of mine, flat mate, has the PC. Whenever I want to use SM I have to borrow his pc and that kills me. Please, consider borrowing a Mac for the conversion, please!!
