Incident

Well today somthing interesting happened. We, my father, my mother, and I, were on our way home when we saw a house that had smoke comming out of the roof. My mother told my dad to slow down and she asked me if it was on fire. I said "Yes it is" and we saw an old lady come out of the door and went back in. My mother scramed "Ma'am are you ok, your house is on fire come back out" and my dad jumped out of the car and ran up to the house. My mother immedialtly dialed 911 (the equivalant to 112 to non US people). She gave them the adress and all that. THen she told me to go and see if i could help, now, i didnt want to go anywhere near the house but i went up to the front door to see if i could help. Two eldery people, a man and a woman were standing there and my dad asked if anyone else was in the house, the old lady said their grandaughter was and that she was in her room. My dad ran in the house and get her out, she was crying and screamming (she had a retardation of some kind). The old man tried to go back in to open up some doors so the smoke could go out, but my parents were scraemming at them telling them to get away from the house. The old lady wanted to get the cars keys to move her car from the driveways, and again my dad told them to get away from the house and go to the side walk. Well, our car was parked infront of their house and one fire truck came so my mom moved the car back a bit, she got out. I got on the phone with my friends to tell them the sit, then more trucks came and my screamed at me, telling me to move the car back. I quickly started it up and backed back, then some neighbors across the steet said i could park it in their drive way so it wouldnt be blocking anything. My mother calmed down the retarded lady and the firemen came and got the fire out, no one was hurt. My parents pratically saved their lives cause they kept trying to go back in the house, but my dad wouldnt let them. The fire was in the basement. The old lady said the retarded girl turned on an oven in the basement and thats what set it on fire. Thats pretty much the story, i'm glad no one was hurt and the house didnt completely burn down, it was just a lot of smoke

lol good work. I saw a house collapse due to fire once...good days. I just saw loads of smoke coming from a house and from across the field i saw the roof cave in....looked so awesome, so i went and stood outside and watched the house burn down. Luckily the house was being built and knowone was inside, but still good event to watch

ok, your story is great, i'll give you 9 out of 10 for that true story.

A really interesting story. I would not have the courage to run into a burning house. But I don't know exactyl, cause I've never been in such a situation.

*cough**cough* No, I think that's just your brain. Anyways, I've seen stuff like this before at my own house. My brother decided he would play with matches underneath his bed, and well he caught the bed on fire, and he tried to put it out with a cup, lol. Then the freakin 911 operator couldn't get my address right, even though I told it to her perfectly about ten times, [:(!] Also, my friends neighbor house was on fire, and it litterrally exploded, it was a site to watch, nobody was hurt, the only problem was that the house was 100% destroyed.
