I'd like to see members have the ability to ban other members from their rides. I know this might tend to skew scores that would tend to favor some raters, but the fairness of it would outweigh any such concern, as there are some raters here who simply stink as raters, they don't understand the laws of gravity, they think a change in direction is a bump and on and on...raters whose rates are totally out of sync with reality skew scores worse than those who tend to rate high do and I think it should be a Right of any member to ban any other member from their ride, for whatever reason, that it would keep things more honest (banned members would simply get a message stating that the coaster builder has banned them from downloading and rating their rides when they try to download or write a review). I haven't been here very long and already I've noticed in many reviews on many coasters that some raters really deserve to be banned and leaving it up to the individual builder seems the fairest way to go.

Coasters are uploaded to get opinions from all the people that want to give it. Not all people like all real coasters and not all people have full logical reasons for not liking real coasters. What you are asking for is illogical as it would be like B&M having permission to duct tape IntaminFan397 from stating his opinion. What you ask for is simply to let people who 10-10-10 all the time to rate you and those who take their time to use the full .5-10 scale who know that 5.5 is an average coaster to not rate you. That would destroy the point of the rating system here. So that suggestions is not going to be considered further as there is no valid reason for it. Feel you got wronged? Post a complaint in the proper forum and it will be dealt with.

I took into consideration what you say about keeping people who rate using the .5 - 10 scale and I understand your point...my point is that there really are people here who are consistently STUPID and give bad reviews based on this stupidity. In the real world, people are often forced to work with idiots and deal with idiots as part of daily life, but when they go out to play, they usually get to pick and chose who they play with and as a general rule, I avoid idiots when I'm out to have a good time...this site is about having a good time and while I haven't been here very long, I've noticed that there are people here who consistently apply a certain amount of rude stupidity to their rates, and there is no apparent way to avoid them, other than to stop posting rides. One could play the vengeful rater and go after such people with ratings that are as nasty as the ones they gave, but that wouldn't be honest. I understand that this is a World Community here, but even in the real world, there are people who belong to the Taliban and try to shove their limited, narrow, anal-retentive views down other people's throats and all I asked for was a way to defend oneself from such scum.

A button that you can put off the audio from the site . . . like Nate Dog said.

I really love the WWS site but the sounds of the logo are really anoying. Also maybe a better search engine, sometimes it doesn't work the way it is supposed to work, that's a shame. Overall the WeeWeeSlap site is among the best NoLimits exchange sites on the internet!

Ren?????????

Modelmaker - go into edit profile and change it from flash to static image. Maybe an ability to turn off the lightning effect too? It really slows my old pc down..

I would like to see the ability for users to respond to people's reviews. Similar to Ebay's feedback system, where you can post a "Follow up" responding to critiscism, thanking users for rating etc.

Actually this is just your opinion on a few people, and they probably have the same opinion of you. I know I have never really paid any attention to you before, but by reading posts such as these I can tell you are just as much an asshole, if not more, than these other people who you claim to be jerks. Now in my opinion, you should be stomped on, kicked, and beaten. But I guess it's a good thing I don't always get my way.

Your rides are subject to whoever wants to rate them. Period. Stop your damn complaining.

Correct, this is just my opinion of a few people...I never tried to claim that the majority of the reviewers here were at fault. Seeing as how I have invoked such violent ire, I guess MOP is the same as the people I have issues with and I will govern myself accordingly every single time from now on.

Me having an issue with you is far worse than you having an issue with me.

Keep that in mind buddy.

I agree with altisdeisgn for the feedback thing, some people ride rides once and say stuff that appear to happen such as support crashes, but if they went into fly mode or tunnel tested it, they'd see that its not true. The only downside to this is that arguments may occur. (not hinting to anyone)

In regards to Simbiant, i have noticed somthing. Most people who give 10-10-10 ratings or high ratings as that usually say "That was great, keep up the good work" but people who give realistic ratings such as maybe 5-7-6 most often EXPLAIN their ratings instead of saying "that sucked, try again". The whole purpose of the rating system is for people to give you tips on how to make it better.
Which comes to my next point, i am almost sure this has been mentioned before but not sure because i havent read the entire forum. The ablity to comment on rides without having to give them a rate number would be good.

all I did was ask for a little justice and honesty. That was ALL. Show me where I asked for more than that, please. If someone is going to rate a coaster with statements that are totally untrue and without any basis in fact, then that person is wronging someone else, plain and simple. Since it is the policy of this site to allow that, without any constraints, I thought of a possible solution. I know there are ways to get admins to look at rates and decide they are bad in one way or another, but opinions vary and I sought to find a way to avoid running to the admins. I'll accept WeeWeeSlap's ruling on this, and would have done so quietly...but since others weighed in on the issue and began a series of personal attacks (and none of them were involved in the issues that brought this all on, they simply decided to jump into it and question my age and other things they know nothing about). When someone spends a couple of months working on a simulated roller coaster and then watches it get trashed by people who are wrong, it tends to rankle and annoy. I don't wish to start any flame wars, and I'll shut up about it now.

When people spend millions of dollars on a real rollercoaster and people complain and it's torn down, that is even worse. BGW and Arrow didn't just say "Ban those people from riding all Arrow coasters from now on". Now did they?

Example: Arrow's Drachen Fire.

So shut up, everyone's entitled to an opinion mr veteran.

I have a small idea, nothing big, just a little ity bitty tiny weeny little probably pointless idea, anyway......you know in the forum stats thingy bit, do you think it would be a good idea if instead of having "Top 25 Replied To Topics", we had "Top 25 Replied To Topics in the real rollercoaster section" and "Top 25 Replied To Topics in the site related section" and one for each one. I just thought this because the top 25 replied to topics will probably soon all be called "GAME" or something [lol] which isn't really an important topic, so you know......consider my idea [;)][lol]
