first off, how can i make a video screen size 64x64 pixels for an avatar?, and also, how long can a video avatar be? i dont want to wind up putting in to large file and slow the site down, if it would have an effect.

you need to take your video and chane it's res using a video editing software. Then you need to run the video through a gif maker to make it into an animated gif. And it doesn't matter how long it is, just make sure that if it's fairly long (5 or more secs) that you turn down the fps rate when your making it into a gif.
