Small Problem

in the NL simulator, whenever i ride any ride, it starts jumping,kit sort of messes up the g's to, even if the g's are find, during a jump, it will go up about 1 g, its rather annoying. I have all the top of the line stuff for my comp so i know it has nothing to with comp speed or graphics card. Dont know whats going on here.

make sure your running as little other programs whilst in the simulator. And also make sure your not tsting the track in the editor, that usualy slows my fps down for some strange reason

Need more information. I suspect that it is not so much your graphics card, or any other piece of hardware, but the graphics card settings.

Posting your Motherboard, RAM, Video and Sound Card information along with the problem you are having would be helpful in trying to figure out this sort of thing.

well, i dont know where to find that stuff to post it up. And its the regular simulator, not going through the editor too.

Running Windows XP Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->System Information

No offense, but how do you know it is top of the line if you do not know what it is?

Seriously, it does not take a supercomputer to run NL, it really sounds like something can be solved by changing your graphic card settings, or by updating your video card drivers. Again, some system info would be helpful. Also, has been goin on since you bought NL, or is it a recent development. If it is something recent, have you updated or installed anything around the same time that this happened in NL?

my bro built and he got all the top stuff, or close to it, he had friend who know a whole lot a stuff about computers and helped my bro build it, pick out all the good stuff for the computer and get it cheaper than most places, I know it has a GeForce Graphics Card and that its one of the good ones, and 2.4 ghz amd athlon xp processor

and it started very briefly and hardly any when i first got it, then it straitend out for a while, then it started acting up worse than before, and a lot longer. ill have the comp. info up ina bit

cant figure out to post it up. (But im probly being an idiot right now cus i cant figure it out now and posting it up probly isnt hard)

i think i just needed to restart my comp. The jumpiness isnt there anymore but im still going to watch it. Just in case if restarting the comp. wasnt enough.

Best bet if it still jumps is to defragment your hard drive - definately sounds like a fragg'd drive to me...

Right click on "My Computer", click "Manage" then click on "Disk Defragmenter". The rest is self explanitory.
