Here is my huge pack of ideas. If you have anymore, post em' here (sorry if this topic has already been posted)

-smooth out track
-add sideshows (carnival games where you win stuffed animals)
-add more Intamin coasters (stratacoaster, inverted coaster, rocket coaster) and a spine changing option. (quad-rail, tri-rail, & bi-rail)
-hotels(guest stay for more than 1 day and comes back)
-rainbow lights on all rides
-catwalks on coasters w/ their lights
-full control over track and supports (ie. the node system use in NL, which was said that it wouldn't be implemented in the game)
-overbanks, zero-g-rolls,etc
-more control over segment. (ie. banking amount, size of corkscrews,etc)
-park explorer instead of coaster cam.(what I mean by park explorer is something allowing you to fully explore the park as a guest would, by starting at the edge of the map, then walking using the keyboard to get to the park entrance, then walking through the queue, through the turnstiles, up the platform, to the seat, and then pressing a key to sit down. Harness closes, you can't get out, you ride the ride, get out the seat using the same key, go through the exit, on the path and to the next ride. The Park explorer should also let you play the sideshows, and buy items from the shop (food, souviners, on-ride-photos,etc) Also, park explorer should let you ride all types of rides, and choose your seat.)
-make track rail curves less jagged
-more flat rides
-should look like original (too late for that)
-custom additions (user-created rides and scenery)
-quick way to make above-ground tunnels (instead of having to use scenery)
-tunnel effects (i.e. fog, light flashes, etc)
-"company" mode (go around parks designing coasters like what B&M does, or a park management company chain like Six Flags)
-guest animations on coasters (raising arms and screaming w/ mouth wide open)
-moving clouds
-choice of backdrop (trees, water, or mountains)
-new and improved land tools (like muilti-tile mountain tool, and muilti-tile corner raise tool. Tools should be found in BOTH the park editor, and the scenario editor)
-creating rides and guests should be allowed in scenario editor
-get rid of unrealistic theming (like that serpent slide)

the game hasn't even come out yet, and woln't be for a while, so why are you asking for stuff when you have no idea what is going to be in the final game?

a lot of that crap is already in it, so don't worry. I think they even have carnival games, but I'm not sure.
Besides, a lot of that is stupid, saying rollercoaster tycoon is bent more around the park, and adding in a lot of that extra junk will hurt the frame rates, and they're trying to get a good frame rate so most computers can run it.

Actually, the serpent slide is realaistc. At Idlewild park, they have a serpent slide, where you get into the tail, and slide downn, then come out of the mouth.

More ideas:

-Quicker water ride lifts
-No disc required
-Faster lifts do not cause ride to easily break down
-Guests don't get so sick so easily

Disk will be needed, unless you want it to suk up a but load of hardrive space on your computer, quicker water rides would be good, i don't know about faster lifts breaking down easier, doesn't seem to happen with me, you must be cursed, lol, j/k. And I don't think the guest are gonna get sik that easily either, but I hope they go back to where you can switch from paying per ride or paying for park entrance, that was so much cooler, its one of the reasons why, imo, RCT was better. Also I hope they make it where you have to unlock parks by beating another, that was another reason why RCT was better, if you don't have goals, and a reward, wats teh point of playing? Its like legandary on Halo, it sux, nobody really plays it except to see the extra 5 seconds of the final video which leads up to Halo 2. And now since I'm one of those people who have seen that footage, I'm gonna record it and post it on the internet so people won't have to endure the missery I endured just to see that extra 5 seconds, lol, but it was worth it.

I'd also like to see fastpass systems implmented. The machines and Q-lines/entrances.

whoa, me 2, that would be cool, but I doubt thats gonna happen, but I think it would cut down on, I've been waitin in line for "Name of Ride Here" for ages.

Banked curves for the suspended coaster. BTW, someone these days will hack RCT3 so you don't need the disc.

More ride types as well. And more water rides. The ability to choose/program in your own ride program for the ride (Manually control the rides/ become the ride operator!). Now that would be cool.

You can get steeper drops by using the splash boats (the bigger log flume)

Anyway, how about an undo-redo function?

Yes basically we would all like more realistic rides and your right coasteragent, that un-do function would be nice.

Another thought, to be able to place more than one of a shop down at a time.

undo would be cool, as for smoothing, the game they use for the vids is a beta version, that is probly run @ a 640x480 res. the final version will probly be a little smoother.

Great! how about senery like fish and when their in water their alive! and a water ride u can make custom 4 stories and special place u ad that sceans happen

I don't get it, sorry. Anyway, These ideas should be submitted to Chris for the next RCT3 expansion pack rather than RCT4. They better allow you to import all your RCT2 stuff in there. That would be a big addition.

And if they don't add all the intamin rides, There's always a trainer. lol.

story rides? Real fish would be intresting. Also, I can imagine those lil' ducks being in 3d. lol. (Sorry to be off-topic, but try to avoid double-posting. Just edit your earlier post. I know I do this sometimes too, but I just want to make sure you know this.)

Edit: They'd better add those slanted banked turns for the Arrow/Vekoma rides. They don't have it and then you get the high lateral g's. It gets very annoying.

Another edit: They have a new video!! My favorite part is the end, but that doesn't mean you skip the whole thing!!! Go see it at www.rollercoastertycoon.com .
