Anyway heres the story for the ride, i couldnt fit it in the rides description. lol.

The Story:
It is 1765:
Every night, in the mountains of Scotland, the villagers of klimach mount hide away in their houses, scared to come out until dawn. Not because of the cold temperatures of the night. Not because of the dark woods nestled on the hill side. But because of the galloping sound which visits the village every time dusk falls. This is the sound of the fearsome highwayman.
The highwayman gallops through the deep forest, ravaging through the woods and valleys, to find his true love at the woodland inn, Bess the landlords daughter, every night. Then one night he told her he would visit the inn at midnight the next day.
Then the next day, before dusk set, the sounds of hooves were heard throughout the forest, not just one horse but many. The villagers fearing for the lives fled to their homes. But it was not the highwayman Bess soon found out. It was the men of King George, hunting down the villainous outlaw. They knew Bess loved him and that he loved her and they had planned a way to catch the infamous highwayman.
They tied Bess to the end of her bed, and gagged her so she could not shout. They had then "bound a musket beside her, with a barrel beneath her breast". She then kept watch for her loved one, through her open window, while knowing the villain would be killed when he visited that night.
As midnight came, Bess fought against her bounds and just as the sound of hooves became clear from the woods, she got one finger on the trigger of the musket beside her. As the highway man came into view on top of the hill, Bess pulled the trigger, taking her life, and warning her loved one of the danger before him. As the highwayman heard the danger he reared on his horse and turned back to the woods. Bess had given herlife to save him, but it was no use. King Georges men hunted the highwayman down and shot him with their muskets leaving him dead in the deep forest.
But, not even death could keep the couple apart, and still to this day, the villagers of klimach mount hide away in their houses, scared to come out until dawn. Not because of the cold temperatures of the night. Not because of the dark woods nestled on the hill side. But because of the galloping sound which visits the village every time midnight comes. No one has ever lived to tell what they have come across when they have heard the galloping through the woods. But everyone knows, it is the shadow of the highway man galloping through the deep forest, ravaging through the woods and valleys, to find his true love at the woodland inn, Bess the landlords daughter.

Shadow rider is the ride that gives the people the experience of being the highway man, finding his true love in the forest.
