On rides that aren't blogged down with 3DS's I get 71+

Now ask about woodies...that's another story...lets just say I have to use the support opptimizer before I ride them.

i seem to run 59 or 60 fps whatever... weather there is loads of 3DS, wooden coaster etc... so i thought 60 might be the fastest No Limits can run but oviously not [:p]

That's pretty good...

I have a new, powerful PC... And with enough 3ds's, it gets shot down to 20ish fps. How do you guys get 71+??? For me... it's only a dream. But in a clean scene, I get around 50fps. The range varies enormously.

for me it just seems completely random. Sometimes it runs at 30, when there is not much on the screen it runs at 60, but other times it runs at like 5 or something for no reason, this is gay when you're trying to test the g's because for some reason the g's jump about and go into like 12 g's in red, even though when you test it next time with 30 fps, there is only 4 g's [confused] very strange, lol

Roelywoely, NL released a buggy update which fuct up your moniters and could some damage to them i beleive [lol] They warned not to use the update, but i did anyway and carried on using it because i got high fps, then the next6 update come out and slowed it up, which sucked

I really need to get a new video card. I've got this wonderful Intel stuff that doesn't work very well. I wonder what'll happen if I update the driver?

I tend to stick in the 90-100 range, but if it's a complex woodies then it'll drop to 30-40 when there's loads of supports in view (normally only until it gets halfway up the lift hill).

Running on a 1.4 P4 Mobile w/ ATI Radeon Mobile and 256MB RAM...

Thought it'd run crap on my lappy, but I was soooooo wrong B)

Which update was it? 1.3??? That was their last update, which came out ages ago. I don't want to damage my monitor.

Steel coasters are almost always 90-100 FPS, woodies some lower, but NL always runs fast[:)]

For me, just keep it above 20fps when it's loaded w/ supports, 3ds's and all that crap, and you've got a pretty good pc. I agree that the 100fps people make us jealous, but 50 fps is still quite nice. I usually don't pay attention to any framerate info unless it drops below 20. Then, it's noticeable.
