I went to Alton Towers today, it wasn't great because it was really full, no matter though, I'm going again next week ....... and the week after [lol]. I got three onride photo's and here they are:

I'm the one in the Wolves shirt (The orange shirt to you Americans [:)])

Fairly normal one on Nemesis first

One thing I learned today, the Chav epidemic is out of control, never have I seen so many in one place!

Well, they were definitely not letting members of the public on when I was there ..... unless they just didn't like my shirt or something. There were people going on it, but only like 5 at a time and they were queued along the exit path, there was a max of like 15 people in the queue at any one time so I guess they were just hotel guests. I went and asked the Alton Towers guy that was at the end of exit path bit and asked about going on the ride and he said "Sorry, but the ride is only open to hotel guests today, it opens to everyone else on April the 1st". Anyway, I stood and watched it go around about 4 times, standing in different positions each time and I thought it looked really good. From the momnt of the launch till you hit the brakes, it looks almost like you don't slow down at all, it seemed like it was going 60mph all the way round and it seems to go round that 4.7g helix in a second, so yeah I think it looks cool. It looked as if there was no time to catch your breath until you hit the brakes. The launch looks wicked as well, its 0-62 in 2.8 seconds yeah, but it looked more like 0-58 in 0.5 seconds then 58-62 in 2.3 seconds after that [lol], its seemed to almost start at 62mph, I for one can't wait to ride it ...... I bet its crap now I've said all that hehe.

I'm going again this friday for the launch of Rita, so I get photo's and crap then, I'll also write a full report of Rita and not just "yeah, looks good" [lol].

Im going on saturday. [:D] Theres loads of new stuff on ATA including videos of people experiencing the launch, lol. [lol]. Also the On ride photo point is right at the beginning of the launch, cos like you said, it seems the fastest accelerating part so it will get the best reactions.

I think they were only letting Hotel guests and Annual Pass holders on, well thats what i heard. Williscroft on TTF got on Rita 6 times in a row, and apparently it is really good fun. [:D] I cant wait, fo the weekend to begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [:p]

I didn't get an Oblivion photo DJ [:P] I went on Oblivion once and I was just swearing at the photo point and I just had my arms out on the photo at the top of the drop. I tell you what though, Oblivion seemed a lot tamer than usual ... thought that was impossible but hey, obviously not. I CAN'T WAIT TILL FRIDAY!!! I want to ride Rita [lol]

I spent most of my visit yesterday trying to find really good photo spots for photo's of Nemesis and Air and the gardens, this is because I'm doing A level art at the moment and we just got our exam papers and I'm doing a question about dramatic landscapes and I think certainly with Nemesis and the gardens, there is a bloody dramatic landscape [lol] so I need some great photos that I can draw from and take things from. So yep, expect some really good photos from me when I go on friday [:)]

I thought Kingda Ka was going form 0-128 mph in 2.8 secs aswell? Maybe some confusion, but I thought I had my facts straight.

^ yah, like never [lol]

Dirk, the guy sitting next to me on the picture of Nemesis is called Hurely and he is a mate, the guy sitting next to me in the other two pictures is called Fatfuck and he's a mate too. They look kinda similar, theyre both long haired, marley listening, booze drinking pot heads [lol] .... what a life!

im hoping for an S&S launched coaster to come to the UK

They should try making a powered launch wooden coaster. They're wooden coasters are awsome and rank up there with CCI's. It would be cool.

LOL, imagine how bumpy the launch alone would be? I just cant see it, but then again, I thought I would never see hydraluics used for propulsion on a roller coaster, so who knows?!
