Ha, today i finaly succeeded in capturing lightning from these damn storms plaguing me round here. Strom rolled in at about 4:30 todayand i was hell bent of capturing some of it [pshades] So i pulled out the video camera and got recording, despite having the power knocked out several times here, which doesnt help when your running cam of the mains, as there no battery, i managed to gt one of the biggest stirkes. Wasnt as close as other had been but this one was the best so far....Anyways

A while back we had a huge storm...thunder was so loud that my windows were shaking, similar to the thunder's volume in the video. It's not often that we get lightning storfs in the bay area.

i was thinking about doing the same to when I was on vacation, there was lightning almost everyday we weren't on the river, and one day when I was on it.

lol nice shot, I love lightning, I've seen some big ones but since I'm so close to the water(about 5 miles away, maybe less) the lightning hits that, I've seen some long lasting thick strikes before.
