If I were to redo my site coastertrade.com, would you visit it? Im asking to so I know if I should scrap the entire site and stop paying for hosting, or convert it to a web design business.

To be painfully honest, it doesnt look like your site ever really took off, and I don't think a re-design would get that many more members. Leave it to WWS and the other bigger coaster sites, fan sites don't really take off unless they have something special.

yes, I would visit it more, cuz right now the forums look like puke, no offense, but all of those colors, and it looks really bad., and maybe redo the lettering on your logo. But who am I to talk, my sites, as I'm sure your well aware of, are crappier than yours. [V]

LOL!!!!!

Anyways, I haven't been to your site. Let me see it first.

Edit: It's pretty cool. The colors and the interface effects are cool. Maybe we should make a poll. [lol] Just kidding. This site is alot busier and has alot more traffic, if not the major of it being newbies. [lol] Anyways, if you want to save money, you should probably shut it down sice there's always wws. But your site has some things wws doesn't have. :|

and for you track exchange at least add some kind of rating system either the kind that they have for this site, or what they have over at coasters2k.com, I prefer this one though, also, add something to spike our interests to keep coming back. Coastersims has larger amounts of people, and a force rating system which guarantees some one will rate your ride. THis site has a large group of people with a friendlier enviornment, and doesn't discriminate kids of the age of 14 and 13 allowing them to show off thier creations, and other things use thier size to attract more people. Maybe you could have frequently updated news about coasters or sumtin, but you'll have to decide that.

Yeah, I agree totally.

But I like the reviewing system at c2k because it's like a forum sort of. But based on evedence, I have concluded that you can't edit your own rates. Also, it doesn't have .5's and separate ratings like the TAO we use. I like the force rating system, though. It doesn't guarantee unless people DL it.

Yeah, I have to wait 2 yrs or lie in order to guarentee ratings though. [lol] But for shortkid's, it's probably too hard and complicated to code the system. I probably prefer the track exchange-in-a-forum anyways, but whatever.

I'm sure he could code it, if he put his mind to it.
