I'm going to CP on aug 28, a saturday. I plan to ride:

MXL200
MF backseat
Raptor
TTD front (uh oh, dont want to eat the bugs)
WT backseat
Mean Streak
Blue Streak
Gemini
Whatever other poop I want to ride

I need help on what to ride first and last to avoind long lines and stuff like that. If I'm lucky, it might rain a little bit and the short lines should be there. That's what happened last year. I'm there at aproximately 10:30am to 7:00pm which sucks poop because I can't get there when it opens and I can't stay there at night. So I'll jsut have to start by going to the back and goto the front on teh afternoon. Any helping tips would be appreciated.

Oh., and 7 hrs probably means less than 7 rides. Wow, that sux. Oh well.

yaa, start at the back and work to the front, don't ride MF first, the ride line will be long all day, unless your a very good runner, and ride millennium force in the night and magnum XL 200 at night(sweet rides)

oh ride MF in front man, alot better in my opinion.

and on magnum, ride in the first car, third seat, best airtime there.

then do whatever you want(drop side of power tower best)

Oops, I forgot to mention that.

And thank you, Edge. I think that should help too, even though I didn't see any tips in there. [lol] But that's ok. Anyways, I should freeway for MF and TTD and ride RAptor in teh afternoon. You can get 2 freeways aday. And I'll need a watch too, lol.

Didn't I tell my parents that I wanted to stay for at least 2 days? My family doens't like CP that much, plus my parents think it's a waste of money (HOW COULD TEHY!!!), so there's nothing I can do about it until I have my own life. :)

You didnt see the tips? Do you read it?

CEDAR POINT TIPS:

1. Ride Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster at night
2. DO NOT COME TO THE PARK ON A SATURDAY
3. Stay long enough to see Snoopy's Summer Spectacular (10:00 PM)
4. Try Hofbrau's Bratwursts
5. Ride in the front seat of Top Thrill Dragster (it's worth the wait)
6. Ride in the back seat of Millennium Force and Wicked Twister
7. Ride the "drop" side of Power Tower
8. Start your day off with Magnum and Gemini, not Raptor, MF, or TTD (too busy in the morning)
9. Bring discount Cedar Point Pepsi cans ($10 off)
10. Use the "Freeway" stamps whenever possible.

Slaps you [lol]

if this helps, the freeways for TTD begin at 2:00. You'll want to be in the line at least by 1:40 to ensure you will get a stamp. MF is better with freeway, but waiting in the queue line isn't so bad as long as TTD is running. Still, on a Saturday the line wil be about an hour and a half. SHORTEST LINES: Gemini, Magnum, Mantis, Mean Streak. LONGEST LINES: Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor, Wicked Twister, Blue Streak.

I got it good for gemini and magnum then. But I'm worried about Raptor and Wicked twister. And I want to ride Blue Streak too. I just checked out a coaster book I already ride and it suggests going at the end week of Aug. so I'm pretty lucky I guess. Oh, and I forgot to list Mantis. I keep forgetting things.

Edit: Fear Factor list for my CP trip this summer.

1.Ride the Mantis. (a ride I'd never dare ride because it's a standup)
2.Take the 3rd row of Magnum.
3.Go on TTD front and raise arms.
4.Ride the back seat of MF and raise arms on ride.
5.Ride back seat on Mean Streak.
6.Raise arms and legs on Raptor and... SCREAM!!!
7.Take a ride on Demon Drop.
8.Go on Iron Dragon or another kiddie ride and scream.[lol]

More to come as I think of them

Oh, and I also want to ride the Power Tower. Edge says that the downshot one is the scariest thing ever.

The Edge would be right on that one. Nothing beats being hoisted 240 ft above the midway in harnesses that don't feel very secure, knowing that you are going to drop straight at the ground. When you are in that position 240 ft up, it feels a thousand feet up. Then there is the anticipation, the car stays at the top, for about 10 seconds, and you are looking straight at the ground, getting more and more nervous by the second. Finally, you are thrusted down, and fly right off of your seat, with the ground racing up at you at nearly 60 mph. It's a definite rush. And the wait is short all day. Oh, and I take back what I just said about the park being mobbed. By August 28, most of the summer crowd is back home, and the locals are all back in school (starts August 23). So, the lines shouldn't be too long at all compared to when I was working there in June and July. Have a great trip.

That is true about the crowd at the end of August. I went to Cedar Point on a Friday and Saturday at the end of August last year and the longest wait for me was 20 minutes on MF.

Last year, I went on labor day and the lines were so short. I swear, the only line in Magnum was teh safety lanes and Disaster Transport's only wait was having to walk through it. But the kids of ohio had school that day and we didn't. :) Also, it was abit cloudy in the morning so that drove them away. Finaly, I heard there was going to be a thunderstorm in the afternoon, but fortunatly, they were dead wrong. (except for a few clouds coming in) I hope this year is much better because I got no TTD when I had teh chance last year. Thanks guys, nothing beats going to an amusement park than having a few good friends that help you with it.

I rode raptor first, which was a big mistake because the line was about 45 minutes. Magnum was so awesome and it had no line. I went on MF right before dark, and it was raining, so the line was about an hour. I rode wicked twister in the rain and in the front seat, though I would have rather ridden in the back. I thought Gemini was just a exciting as MF. Most rides have really short lines in the rain
