A recreation of MF actually comes with NL. I did see a very early recreation on CS.com about 2 years ago, but it has been a long time. I am actually making a recreation of MF myself as part of the Cedar Point Coaster Package.

MF is actually impossible to recreate accurately due to the NL Physics - the Intamin Hyper trains dont hold their speed enough to accurately recreate MF - I tried a while ago but stopped when I realised it wasnt possible.

I have devised a simple solution for this... use 6 trains instead of 9. With 6, the speed of the ride is alot more realistic. I will be using this technique on my CP coaster package, and it is working out wonderfully so far. the train crested the top of the second hill at 185 ft with a constant -.2 vertical g's. That's as far as I have gotten so far, but as soon as I get all of the NL files installed onto my new laptop at Mercer University, I will continue working on it.

the problems with all the recreations that exist right now are the banking is not heartlined like MF, and the turns are mis-shapen and roughly chiseled. Also, the lateral G's are too high. My version so far has corrected all these errors.

I can't wait to see it cjd, MF is one of my favourite rides, how long do you think it'll take you to finish?

^lol, anyway about the lift hills. Does your recreation have a lift hill that starts out slow, then gets faster until it reaches almost the top and then gets faster. If not then its innacurate. MF's lift hill like all intamins or at least the ones i have ridden, increases in three different segments.

hmm...difficult to do in NL, considering when you add on a new lift segment the last one you add on has the stats that control the entire lift. But if you pull it off, than id like to know how you did it.

Easy, put a VERY small normal track segment inbetween the tracks.
